Purpose designed for the catering industry, this tough foot pedal bin has been developed to meet new food hygiene regulations and increase efficiency within your kitchen environment. HIPPO Catering Waste Bin is constructed from tough, double skinned Durapol® material, which ensures a long service-life. The lid/pedal operation withstands heavy and repeated usage and has been laboratory tested for exceptional durability to over one million foot presses. The surface of HIPPO Catering Waste Bin is easy to clean and the smooth contours ensure that there are no debris traps.

FOOD SAFETY REGULATIONS
All major components of HIPPO are in Food Grade plastic material, complying with Food Contact Regulations, Statutory Instrument, 1992 no 3145 and BPF-BIBRA (1987), Polymer Specification 4, polyethylene. HIPPO is designed with reference to the Food Safety Regulations 1995, where guidelines recommend that food waste must be deposited in closable containers, which are easy to clean and disinfect.
